New Arrival

My author copies showed up on my doorstep yesterday, on a Monday wherein I was mainly engaged in marking papers and writing an Arthurian-legend-in-one-hour lecture. As a result, my celebrations consisted entirely of frightening the dog with jubilant noises and using technology to boast about my accomplishment over long distances, in the spirit of which I hereby commit the Deadly Sin of Pride and post the following photo:
